This is what the Silver under-coat looks like when the hair is parted.
A Silver cat is not just a "Gray" or "Silver" colored cat. "Silver" is a special gene (Inhibitor or "I" gene) that inhibits the top coat color from reaching all the way to the skin, leaving a beautiful white under-coat. "Silvers" can come in any coat color or coat pattern. We are working hard here at NiteSongs to produce a nice range of colors and patterns in "Silver" .
